How to Connect HP Printers to WiFi?

HP (Hewlett Packard) printers is an American company that introduced both Inkjet and laser printers. HP printers are reliable and produce better quality than other printers. Can connect HP printers to the wired or wireless network.

 


The following steps guides how to connect HP printers to WIFI: 

For touchscreen printers:

  • First, set up your HP printer using the Quick start guide.
  • Install the cartridges and power on the printer.
  • Place your printer and WiFi router closer.
  • Load the printers to the main tray.
  • Select the Wireless Setup Wizard from the Wireless option or Setting or Network Setup menu.
  • From the list of networks, select the correct network name.
  • Then, enter your network password to complete the connection process.

For without touchscreen printers:

  • Set up your printer, plug it into the power cord, and turn on your printer
  • Make sure you load the papers in the main tray.
  • On the control panel, press and hold the Wireless button for 5 seconds to 7 seconds until the light starts to blinks.
  • On your router, press and hold the WPS button.
  • Wait till the printer light stops to blink.
  • After completing the connection process, we can start to print the images or text.

Troubleshooting steps for Wireless printer connection:

  • Turn off your printer and then unplug the cables from the Power cord and printer.
  • Also, turn off the device you’re trying to print.
  • Disconnect the cables from the router and power cord.
  • After 10 to 20 seconds, reconnect the cables again. 
  • Please turn on the printer and computer and then connect it to the Wireless Network.
  • Try to take a printout.
